Who can dance?

Any woman who has a “call” to dance that is clear and strong.

Any woman who has danced at another Moondance (ie: Mexico, Canada)

You are asked to make your intentions clear to the Abuela and to your sponsor by completing the application form, waiver, questionnaire, and writing an intention letter explaining why you want to dance. You are also encouraged to attend any meetings and temazcales (purification lodges) in preparation for the dance.

If you do not already have a moondance sister who is guiding you, contact the abuela or someone on the counsel and will help you find someone, making sure you have all the information and guidance to participate knowingly in the moondance.
